Hold the Fruit Smoothie Bowl | Vegan

Smoothie Bowls are my J A M, but after doing a 21 day cleanse of close to zero sugar, I realized how much sugar I was consuming simply by the fruit going into my smoothies. While I love fruit - especially bananas, it's not good for the body to have too much of anything, and since sugar is already hard to avoid, it's best to cut back when you can. So, I've been experimenting with different recipes that still keep me full, give me plenty of nutrients and of course, satisfy my cravings. 

Base:

1 cup Nut Milk of your choice

2 tbsp Nut Butter of your choice (try to avoid peanut)

1 scoop NuSkin plant based protein powder

1 tsp Maca Powder

3-5 Ice Cubes

Optional sweetener: 2 Pitted Dates | Stevia (double check label, most Stevias have other ingredients you want to stay away from)

Toppings:

1 tbsp Walnut Pieces

1 tbsp Pepitas 

2 tsp Hemp Seeds

1 tsp Chia Seed

1 tbsp Cacao Nibs

2 tbsp Cacao Infused Motha' Butta
