Motha' NuttaButta Cups
Coconut Butter serves many purposes - like crafting vegan, low to zero sugar treats. Introducing a new MB favorite, the Nutta Butta cup. Minimal ingredients, minimal time & maximum potential to wow your friends and family with these babies.
Makes 12 cups. Prep time: 10 Cook time: 20: Total time: 30 mins.
5 INGREDIENTS ONLY:
- 16 Oz. quality dark chocolate - the darker the better.
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 4 tbsp. coconut butter
- 3 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional, but suggested)
- 1 c. nut butter (or more, if you're a little nutty)
- Optional Sea Salt Sprinkle on top.
Mix chocolate + coconut oil +coconut butta' in a microwave safe bowl, heating in increments of 20 seconds, mixing in between until chocolate is fully melted. Add nut butter, rest of coconut butter + optional sweetener in a bowl, mix together until all ingredients are blended.
Line a muffin tin.
First layer: 1/2-1 tbsp (or a spoonful) of your chocolate blend.
Second Layer: Spoonful of peanut butter (about 1 tbsp)
Third Layer: 1/2-1 tbsp chocolate.
Optional Sea Salt Sprinkle on top
Set in fridge or freezer for 20 minutes minimum to set & enjoy! Best to store in fridge or freezer, to keep from melting.
